ps2 games

We recently purchased the Sony Playstation 2 and so far own: Tekken 3, Tekken Tag Tournament, and will soon be adding Enter the Matrix. Could anyone kindly recommend a few games they like or think are worth having around? I tried using Game Finder but would prefer the suggestion and/or comments from other fellow PS2 gamers. The game genre/category preferred are as follows: action/adventure, fighting, sports/extreme sports, or anything closely related. Thanks!

Let me second the recommendation of Resident Evil. It is still my favorite game series of the PS. Get Resident Evil 2, as it was my fave of the series. I prefer it to Silent Hill.
